Ormond Brand Consulting has been working hands-on with Austin Moto Adventures to promote their first TouraTexas Rally event. With this being the first year of the event, and the first event of its kind in Texas, marketing and attendance was a major concern.
Through utilizing and available photos and video from the property, we were able to create social media posts that would be collaborated with businesses like TouraTech, Butler Maps, and other vendors to spread the word organically.
Paid media through Facebook and Instagram was implemented to reach the specified demographics within the targeted regions.
The event spanned Thursday to Sunday and saw OEMs such as Harley Davidson, Triumph, Honda, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Kove, AJP, and SWM.
One major feature of the event was the premiere of the Big Bend BDR-X, a self guided adventure motorcycle route created by Back Country Discovery Routes.
Riders from all over the country attended to take part in the demo rides, property rides, off-site GPS tracks, challenge courses, and slow races.
The anticipated attendance was about 250, with more than 600 taking part throughout the weekend.
